FOLKS OF INNSMOUTH
Used Car Dealer
by
Franklyn Searight
I wouldn't buy a car from anyone
Who lives in Innsmouth---absolutely not!
You never know what's been upon those seats
And left alone for days and weeks to rot.
But still I have to sell 'em---that's my job---
Though truth about them I refuse to tell.
The unsuspecting people just don't know
This most deceitful way we dealers sell.
But still they're better than the horses were
That carried folks about the town each day.
Those nags could not abide the natives' smell,
And constantly would try to bolt away.
